Who we are

Frontdeskly ("we," "us") provides an AI receptionist that businesses connect to their Facebook Page to answer customer messages on Messenger. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it, both for business owners who use Frontdeskly and for the customers who message a business's Page.

What we collect

• Business account data — name, email, and business profile details (hours, pricing, policies) that a business owner adds so the AI can answer accurately.
• Knowledge base content — documents, FAQs, or text a business owner uploads for the AI to reference.
• Facebook Page connection — your Page ID, Page name, and an access token, stored encrypted, used only to send and receive messages on your behalf.
• Customer conversations — when a customer messages a connected Page, we store their Messenger-scoped ID, name (if provided by Facebook), and the message content, so the business can see and respond to their own conversation history.
• Booking requests — if a business enables the booking feature, whatever fields that business has configured (e.g. name, contact number, preferred date) as provided by the customer during a conversation.

How we use it

Message content and relevant knowledge base snippets are sent to OpenAI's API to generate a reply. We do not use conversation data to train AI models, and we don't sell any data to third parties. Data is used solely to operate the service: answering messages, showing a business its own conversations and booking requests, and billing.

Data retention and deletion

Business owners can delete individual knowledge documents at any time from their dashboard. To request deletion of your account, business data, or a customer's conversation history, see our Data Deletion Instructions.

Facebook Platform data

Data received via Facebook Messenger (Page messages, customer PSIDs) is used only to provide the messaging service to the connected business, in line with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We do not use Messenger data for advertising or share it with third parties beyond the OpenAI processing described above.
